Matt has been in the sports media for over 10 years, with experience covering Major League Baseball, National Basketball Association and of course, the National Football League. On NFL Sunday’s you can hear Matt on National networks like Fox Sports Radio, Sporting News Radio, Associated Press, and other stations around the country. Born and raised in Cleveland, Matt studies and talks football inside and out, and is anxious to share his thoughts and comments with readers on a daily basis.
Dan Taylor - Columnist
Dan Taylor, is a die hard Browns fan born in Akron. He is an Akron Ellet grad of the class of 1976. Retired from Air Force in 2005 with 30 years as a Master Sergeant. An early Browns memory is recalling going to watch Jim Brown at the old stadium. Dan won a contest from the Plain Dealer in the 69/70 season and got to go to Hiram for a week. Eat with the players, played catch got pics and autographs. Needless to day, Dan bleeds Brown and Orange.
Mark Walsh - Columnist
Mark is a public school teacher by day and a passionate sports fan by night. He received a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from Kent State University and has attained a master’s degree in Curriculum and Development from Ashland University. He also coaches tennis and currently works part-time at Quicken Loans Arena. (LeBron’s current playground) Go Cavs! Mark lives and dies with the ups and downs of the Cleveland sports scape. From The Drive, Red Right 88, The Shot, Mesa in the ninth to the most recent Game 7 in Boston, Mark continues to support and respect these sports teams and acknowledges the pleasure that they have brought to his life. When not following the Browns, the Cavaliers and the Indians, Mark thrives on the competition of Fantasy Baseball and Fantasy Football. He has participated in several leagues and has a few championships to his credit. He looks forward to the opportunity of writing about the teams and the sports that he loves and being able to help those that also have become addicted to the draw of fantasy sports.
Loren Leiser - Columnist
32-year-old Loren Leiser lives in the Dallas area. He has a wonderful family, with the woman of his dreams as well as two great daughters. He grew up in Milwaukee, WI, and is a die hard sports fan. Loren played football in high school, playing wide out, corner back and safety. He also played college football at the University of Wisconsin Madison, where he also majored in Computer Science. Loren is ready to bring his knowledge and love for football to the fans and readers of NFL Gridiron Gab.
